Paperluxe Studio is just one of my various creative hobby-turned-business ventures, which stemmed from a long-time love affair with entertaining, paper & creative design along with my genetically acquired knack for resourcefulness!

It started in the summer of 2007 when I was planning my sister in law’s baby shower, and I was stumped for party favors…  I knew there had to be a classier & more practical alternative to the scented votive or Jordan almonds wrapped in tulle, the theme shaped, decorated cookies that cost $5.00 each, or the plastic baby bottle filled with pacifier candies. Thanks to inspiration from a friend, I decided to try my hand at creating “made to match” stationery sets for each party guest.  The stationery was such a hit at the shower that word spread quickly & before long, I had people contacting me from around the country, requesting personalized stationery favors for their upcoming event!  Though I was working full time, with two little boys at home, I managed to slowly grow the business & keep up with demand.

However, after the birth of my third son & an unexpected job lay-off post maternity leave, I somehow managed to find the time to grow my business even more…  I now offer a wide range of design services, including stationery, invitations, matching thank-you notes, photo announcements & nursery wall art.  I am also a freelance graphic designer for other like-minded small businesses for whom I design logos, business cards, post cards, banner ads, etc.  I have several other business ventures in the works as well, which you can learn about at my main site, www.sarahmasci.com.
